1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Biltapay, operated by Bilta Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"). By using an account or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

Biltapay helps you organize, track, and pay bills—including utilities, rent, subscriptions, and related payments—from one place. Features may include reminders, payment history, and account management tools. We may update, add, or remove features from time to time.

3. Accounts

To use most features you must have an account and provide accurate information. You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential and secure
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to open an account.

4. Payments & third parties

Bill payments may be processed through licensed payment partners, banks, or billers. When you initiate a payment, you authorize us and our partners to process the amount you specify. Settlement times, fees, and availability depend on the biller and payment method. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by third parties outside our reasonable control.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by:

• Attempting unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
• Using the service for fraud, money laundering, or other illegal activity
• Interfering with the integrity or performance of the platform
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation

6. Fees

Some features or payment methods may carry fees. Applicable fees will be disclosed before you confirm a transaction. You are responsible for any charges from your bank, mobile network, or biller in addition to fees we disclose.

7. Intellectual property

Biltapay, including its branding, software, and content, is owned by Bilta Technologies or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute our materials except as allowed by law.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bilta Technologies and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by additional notice in the product. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
